the last seduction film responce

The last seduction was produced in 1994 and is about a young woman called Bridget who wants to murder her husband but doesnt want to be caught herself.

As her husband, Clay deals drugs to keep a stable amount of money, she notices one evening  a bag of money that he made and once Bridget convinces Clay to have a shower she runs off with the money from New York to Chicago however on her way there she meets mike.
Bridget changes her name to Wendy so that she doesnt get caught and begins to use mike for her own sexual pleasure and creates emotions for mike towards her which she purposely uses for her own benefit.
She then tells mike how she wants someone dead but doesn't tell him that its her own husband. He finally agrees to with her devil ways of using his emotion and sex to drive him towards being on her side and says that if he does this they can finally live together with no worries.

Once Mike arrives in new york he goes into the flat and wakes Clay yet he was not alarmed but what was happening and realises that its all his wife's idea, and shows mike the pictures of the two and explains what she is doing to him whilst being tied up of course. Mike realises whats happening and both make a plan to make sure no one dies.
Mike turns off the light in the flat as an indication that the murder has been done and Bridget makes her way up but see's Clay tied up on the sofa alive. He begins to say that he will happily take her back and how he loves her, she kisses him but suddenly sprays mace into his mouth killing him instantly with mike in shock and anger about the whole situation. Bridget knows that he would tell and she brings up the past with him and his ex wife's and starts to anger him even more.

The most shocking part of this film is how Bridget frames Mike to get him in prison, she begins to make him anger and shouting for him to 'rape her' and he goes along with it, once she knows he's too angry to stop she rings to police and starts pleading for him to stop, and the police trace the call and arrest mike with evidence of him saying he will rape her.

At the end of this Mike is still in prison with no evidence to get him out and Bridget is seen to burn the only piece of evidence he had in mind showing that she got away with murder and the innocent will never be let out.
