If is a british film produced in 1968 displays school life. It was set in an all boys boarding school and shows man problems throughout. We first see the school's discipline and how the boys are treated with physical harm if any rules are broken. There are different types of boys in the film and we see two of the older boys escape the college and go around town with a stolen motorbike and arrive at a cafe where they meet a girl and with no girls at their boarding school there is a scene between one of the boys and the girl where they act like animals in the wild which is slightly strange and unexplained.
After they arrive back they're found drinking and acting rude where they become physically punished which push the boys to the edge. at the end the boys create a 'revolution' against the school by shooting the people.I feel that the film doesn't reflect the 60's and the problems and is too surreal to be taken seriously with men lying in draws and a sudden revolution which isn't realistic to me. I personally did not like the film as some parts changed from colour to black and white imply because they did not have enough money and also many parts of the film were not explained well and the ending just stopped making me feel like there was much more to it.
