Georgy girl (1966) opening scene

In the opening scene we hear the song 'Georgy girl' with the lyrics representing her.
We firstly see Georgy walking down the high street beginning to swing her purse with her hair tied up and dressed in all black with a leather coat on, which is opposite to the swinging 60's look that most woman had with their brightly patterned dresses and done up hair.
We then see Georgy doing a quick glance into a hair dressers and noticing the hair styles that are displayed that reflect the woman's style in the 60's with her then taking in what the hair styles are like and seems to be showing a little interest in the woman's hair styles inside.
Georgy starts to walk away but then is shown to have a quick change of mind and decides to have a go with the look. The camera shows all 3 wigs one by one, then again from the front angle which then shows Georgy standing outside the shop with her new hair style looking pleased. however, Georgy then touches her hair and looks at it into the window noticing what it looks like a starts to run until in a public bathroom where her hair has now fallen out where she also wets it and puts it back up to make it look like how it did before and she walks out with confidence and a smile
The opening scene shows how different Georgy is to the typical girl of the 60's with her hair and old fashioned preserved style introduces Georgy's personality straight away for the audience.
